I may be a New Orleans photographer, but I do get around from time to time. Back in 2002, I spent a year in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, located in the Provence of Galicia.
The sunset from Bayou Sauvage was incredible last night. I was waiting for the Strawberry Moon rise, but the cloud cover did not allow it to poke through. The silver lining was that the clouds made for a great gobo for the sun to display its rays through.
City Park is blooming with wildflowers. The City Park Wildflower field is in between Marconi Drive and Roosevelt Mall Street. The majority of the wildflowers blooming on this particular patch are Black Eyed Susans (Rudbeckia hirta).
